Job summary

Remote Choice in South Africa is seeking a Finance Systems Consultant to help customers deploy and integrate their SaaS platform with finance systems, bridging Sales, Onboarding and Support. You will tailor demonstrations, support scoping, and lead implementations with SmartSync, Sage Intacct and Business Central, including migrations and post-installation support.

Qualifications

• Strong IT knowledge across servers, SaaS, SQL, Windows, vibe coding, and APIs.
• Understanding of finance team functions.
• Excellent communication to understand customer requirements and communicate confidently.
• Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• SQL & Azure: managing databases and infrastructure.
• Office 365 familiarity including OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Windows Servers & Networking experience.
• Reasonable understanding of finance and its impact on technical systems.
• APIs experience with integrating business-critical apps.
• Critical thinking and proactive problem solving.
• 5–7+ years' relevant experience in Consulting, Customer Success, or Technical Support.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales: Preparing and setting up tailored demonstrations.
• Delivering demonstrations and supporting technical scoping as discussions progress.
• Implementation: Working with Onboarding on design requirements involving SmartSync or premium integrations like Sage Intacct and Business Central.
• Building implementation plans and ensuring they are executed.
• Migrations: Working with existing customers on migrations.
• Post-installation troubleshooting: Leading on challenging implementations.
• Knowledge management: Keeping the knowledge base up to date with training articles.
• Plugin scoping and/or writing.
