Job summary

StaffSelect | IT Select Recruitment seeks a Finance Integration Manager to lead financial diligence, modelling and the controlled transition of acquisitions into group finance operations. The role reports to the UK COO and offers exposure to a fast-paced UK-led acquisition program.

The candidate must combine strong finance capability with disciplined PMO skills, managing multiple workstreams in a remote Cape Town-based team. Availability for overlap with UK hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience across finance operations, management accounting, financial analysis, transaction support, integration or finance transformation.
• Experience in transaction services, audit, practice finance, post-merger integration or multi-entity finance transformation.
• Advanced Excel with ability to interrogate ledger, billing, WIP and client data.
• Familiarity with recurring fees, WIP, recoverability, lock-up and partner remuneration structures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver financial diligence across historic and current trading, revenue, client concentration and assets; document assumptions and differences.
• Build acquisition and integration models covering normalised performance, cash and costs-to-integrate.
• Reconcile source data to accounts and MI; document limits and unexplained items.
• Design a finance transition plan for banking, P2P, billing, WIP, payroll interfaces and VAT hand-offs.
• Establish Day 1 controls, approvals, duties and reporting responsibilities.
• Track integration costs and benefits and explain variances.
• Handover reconciliations, calendars and residual actions to BAU finance owners.
• Coordinate with UK partners, acquired-firm owners and local teams with confidentiality.
