Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced EYFS Coordinator to lead the virtual early learning program from anywhere in South Africa. You will oversee development, implementation, and quality assurance of the EYFS curriculum delivered through our online platform, guiding a remote team of educators and ensuring high-quality, developmentally appropriate experiences for young learners.

The role requires deep EYFS knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to drive curriculum in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Extensive experience implementing the EYFS framework.
• 6+ years in early childhood education, with 3+ years in leadership/coordination.
• Experience developing/adapting curriculum for online/blended learning.
• Strong leadership, communication and remote team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and refinement of the EYFS curriculum for online delivery.
• Ensure online EYFS programs align with statutory framework and best practices.
• Provide guidance and professional development to a remote team of EYFS educators.
• Monitor teaching quality with virtual observations and feedback sessions.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies suitable for remote learning.
• Collaborate with tech and curriculum teams to enhance digital learning.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and engagement.
• Oversee safeguarding policies in remote learning context.
• Manage operational aspects of the online EYFS program.
• Stay updated on innovations in early childhood education and remote learning technologies.
