Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will work with central labs, ECG, imaging, EHR and other data sources to ensure accurate data capture in the CDR.

You will liaise with data stakeholders, develop tsDTA documents, translate medical concepts into data mappings, and perform UAT to ensure data quality and conformance with GCP/ICH guidelines. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources (Safety Lab, PK, ECG, etc.)
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience with clinical trials and cross-functional, global teams.
• Knowledge of SDTM and working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol requirements.
• Deliver standardized external data stream deliverables.
• Assess data collection requirements and plan setup activities to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders on data transfer and structure for each stream.
• Create tsDTA documents detailing study data transfer requirements.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet monitoring and reporting needs.
• Coordinate with external data providers for tsDTA alignment.
• Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for Clinical programmers.
• UAT test data transfers against Data Transfer Agreements.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into the Clinical Data Repository (CDR).
