Job summary

IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services, seeks a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased). You will define, set up and ingest diverse external data streams for clinical trials, coordinating with data providers and stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely data capture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources such as labs, ECG, biomarkers, and EHR.
• Experience creating data transfer agreements and working with data providers.
• Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up and ingest external data streams per protocol requirements.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to specify data transfer, ingestion and structure.
• Create change requests for new data concepts or data structures.
• Develop trial-specific data transfer agreements documenting requirements.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet review, monitoring and reporting needs.
• Coordinate with external data providers to align tsDTA agreements.
• Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for programmers.
• UAT test data transfers for consistency with data specifications.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into the clinical data repository.
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams and resolve issues.
