IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence. The Data Acquisition Specialist will define, set up and ingest External Data Streams for clinical studies, working remotely from home-based roles across South Africa.

The role requires collaboration with data stakeholders and external providers to ensure compliant data transfer and mapping. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in clinical data

Qualifications

• Experience managing data in clinical research projects.
• Experience working with external data providers in a clinical study setting.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience with SDTM and data standards.
• Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and ingest External Data Streams per protocol.
• Coordinate data transfer agreements with providers.
• Ensure data transfer, ingestion, and structure meet requirements.
• Perform UAT of data transfers and monitor data availability.
• Translate clinical concepts into data mapping guidance.
