IQVIA in South Africa seeks a Data Acquisition Specialist to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will coordinate with data stakeholders to ensure compliant transfer, ingestion and structure of diverse data sources such as labs, ECG, imaging and real‑world data.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, at least 3 years’ experience with clinical data, and knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources (labs, ECG, imaging, biomarkers).
• Experience drafting data transfer agreements and SDTM knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Define and ingest external data streams for clinical trials.
• Plan external data set-up activities to meet study timelines.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to define data transfer needs and structures.
• Create test concepts and data structure change requests.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet monitoring and reporting needs.
• Perform UAT and monitor data availability for external streams.
