This 100% remote, 40-hour-per-week role operates on US EST hours. You will collaborate with engineering and operations, identify risks, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision while maintaining precise budgets and documentation in JobTread.

Formación

• Experience in estimating, procurement, and construction project coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate scope into estimates.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail when reviewing quantities and costs.
• Experience requesting vendor quotations, managing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously.
• Clear spoken and written English for a US-based team and vendors.
• Familiarity with estimating/project-management software; JobTread preferred.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to move work forward with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete client estimates in JobTread using engineering specifications and defined project scopes.
• Apply accurate quantities, unit costs, cost codes, and markups.
• Review calculations, scope details, and supporting documentation before finalizing estimates.
• Request and compare vendor quotations, including pricing, lead times, freight, and minimum order requirements.
• Identify pricing changes and flag potential risks to project margins.
• Clarify incomplete or conflicting scope information with the engineering team.
• Hand completed estimates to Inside Sales with notes on scope and pending decisions.
• Manage awarded material-order projects from procurement through delivery and closeout.
• Issue purchase orders, confirm vendor acknowledgments, and track shipments.
• Resolve backorders and coordinate substitutions with the team.
• Schedule deliveries and coordinate installation timing.
• Track project progress, identify delays early, and communicate impact.
• Maintain budgets, project statuses, cost codes, and closeout docs in JobTread.
• Work with Operations on document control and job setup.
• Participate in meetings and communicate proactively with the team.
