Real Hires LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator who can read plans, build accurate takeoffs, and turn project details into clear and competitive bids. You’ll review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare estimates, and manage vendor quotes to help win more work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• Experience preparing bids, estimates, and project pricing.
• Experience reviewing and comparing vendor quotes.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and competitive bids.
• Send RFPs to vendors and collect and compare quotes.
• Prepare RFIs when project details are missing or unclear.
• Estimate electrical and lighting work.
• Review plans for scope changes, missing details, and possible cost issues.
• Keep estimates, pricing, and project files organized and updated.
• Use STACK, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
• Work with vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet bid deadlines.
• Manage multiple estimates while keeping your work accurate and on schedule.
