Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will research accounts, craft outbound sequences and book meetings with decision-makers, representing Blacksmith to potential clients.

You’ll work remotely, using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume targets while maintaining high-quality outreach and accurate CRM records.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
