Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst to join a fully remote team focused on energy markets. You will analyze large energy datasets, build dashboards, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in data analysis, proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and experience with Tableau or Power BI. Strong remote communication skills are essential for collaborating with trading, planning, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools: SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical methodologies.
• Excellent remote communication and data storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large energy-related datasets (consumption, prices, production).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and trends.
