Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Energy Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as energy analyst or in a similar quantitative role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or R.
• Excellent understanding of the South African energy market and regulatory framework.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of energy market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing.
• Develop financial models to forecast energy prices, project economics, and investment opportunities.
