Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist for a fully remote role aimed at tackling complex electrical control systems for clients worldwide.

You will design, analyze, and optimize industrial automation and smart grid solutions, while providing expert remote support from your home office in South Africa.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of remote-friendly experience and strong communication across virtual teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical systems design, analysis and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and control logic for industrial automation and smart grid applications.
• Perform in-depth analysis of system performance and optimize solutions.
• Provide expert remote technical support and consultation to clients.
• Develop detailed technical documentation including system specifications and design reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering, automation, and smart grid tech.
• Conduct remote training sessions for clients and internal teams.
