Placements24 is seeking an Electrical Systems Designer for remote work in South Africa. The role focuses on conceptualization and detailed design of electrical systems across diverse projects, delivering compliant, efficient designs.

You will produce schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into precise design documents. A strong CAD skill set and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical system design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical or Revit MEP.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical system designs including schematics and drawings.
• Perform load calculations and voltage drop analysis.
• Select components, equipment, and materials per specs.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers, and clients to gather input.
• Prepare BOMs and technical specifications for procurement.
• Ensure designs comply with electrical standards and safety codes.
