Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Design Specialist to join its fully remote engineering team. You will design robust electrical systems and embedded boards for innovative products from your home office, collaborating with colleagues across time zones.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience with Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro, plus strong analog/digital and power electronics skills, and excellent remote communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design with a strong project portfolio.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design robust electrical systems and circuit boards for new product development.
• Perform detailed design including schematic capture, layout, and component selection.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to verify performance and meet specifications.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during prototyping and production.
