Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Educational Technology Specialist to join a remote-first team, supporting educational institutions across Randburg and beyond. You will drive the integration of digital tools into teaching, train educators, and guide administrators to enhance pedagogy through technology.

The role requires expertise in LMS platforms, strong training and communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and develop digital learning strategies that shape the future of education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in educational technology support or integration.
• In-depth knowledge of LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and common educational software.
• Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support and training on educational technology tools and platforms to educators and staff.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to LMSs and educational software.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to integrate technology into educational programs.
• Research and recommend new educational technologies aligned with institutional goals.
• Develop and deliver professional development workshops on digital pedagogy and technology integration.
