Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Early Childhood Development Coach to support ECD practitioners, caregivers and center managers across South Africa. The role is fully remote, with occasional travel for in-person workshops to strengthen community engagement.

You will deliver virtual coaching, develop online training modules, and provide technical guidance on curriculum implementation and classroom practices, empowering professionals to enhance early learning quality from anywhere in the country.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the ECD sector with training, coaching or facilitation.
• Proven experience delivering remote training and support using digital platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories, learning frameworks, and SA ECD policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual coaching and mentoring sessions to ECD practitioners and caregivers.
• Develop and facilitate online training modules and workshops on various ECD topics.
• Provide technical assistance on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and child-centered pedagogies.
• Support ECD centers in improving quality standards, including health, safety and learning environment assessments.
• Build relationships with ECD stakeholders via online communication and engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate impact of coaching interventions and document progress.
