Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Early Childhood Development Consultant to support childcare providers across South Africa and beyond. You will develop best-practice frameworks, lead virtual trainings, and provide bespoke consultancy to elevate program quality.

The role leverages deep knowledge of curriculum development, pedagogy, and regulatory standards, with full remote work and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in early childhood education, including curriculum development and program management.
• Proven experience delivering remote training and consultancy.
• Strong understanding of child development theories, learning sciences, and best practices.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine early childhood education curricula and pedagogical strategies for diverse age groups.
• Deliver engaging and informative virtual training workshops and webinars for educators and childcare staff.
• Provide remote consultancy services, offering tailored advice on improving program quality and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and regulatory changes in early childhood development and education.
• Create resources, toolkits, and best-practice guides for childcare providers.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancement.
