Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Early Years Coordinator to oversee and enhance early childhood education programs from a distance, based out of Bloemfontein or remotely. The role leads the curriculum design, teacher development, and program quality across virtual and physical touchpoints.

You will drive strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgets while inspiring remote educators to deliver high standards of care and learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Significant leadership experience in early childhood settings.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate remote teams.
• Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy, curriculum design and assessment.
• Excellent strategic planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools for management, communication and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review early years curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
• Provide remote leadership, mentorship, and professional development to early years educators.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Monitor teaching and learning quality through virtual observations and data analysis.
• Collaborate with management and external stakeholders to drive program innovation and improvement.
• Manage budgets and resources allocated to the early years department effectively.
