Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Early Childhood Development Specialist and Curriculum Designer to conceptualize and refine engaging curriculum materials for digital platforms, targeting ages 2-5. This fully remote contract role emphasizes strong pedagogy and collaborative virtual work.

The ideal candidate will design play-based curricula, produce digital content, and research the latest ECD findings to ensure content meets diverse standards and is accessible globally.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in ECE or related field.
• 5+ years curriculum development experience in early childhood education.
• Strong portfolio of digital and/or print resources.
• Knowledge of Piaget, Vygotsky, Montessori, Reggio Emilia.
• Experience with LMS and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop curricula for ages 2-5.
• Create digital content: activities, stories, songs, games.
• Research findings in ECD to inform design.
• Align content with national/international standards.
• Collaborate virtually with designers, artists, developers.
• Write instructional text and scripts for media.
• Review and revise curriculum content for accuracy.
• Contribute to product vision from an educational perspective.
• Participate in virtual meetings and provide feedback.
• Stay updated on remote learning trends.
