Placements24 seeks a skilled Remote E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and optimize a digital storefront. You will ensure platform stability, implement new features, and analyze user behavior to drive conversions.

This fully remote role collaborates with marketing, design, and development teams and requires deep e-commerce tech knowledge. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in e-commerce platform management, adept with major platforms, GA analytics, SEO, and CRO techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce platform management and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of major e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and their application on e-commerce sites.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end adjustments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed teams.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• A track record of successfully improving e-commerce performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the e-commerce platform, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Implement and configure new features, integrations, and functionalities to enhance user experience and drive sales.
• Monitor website performance, including loading speed, uptime, and overall user navigation.
• Conduct regular testing of website features, product pages, and checkout processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the e-commerce platform in a timely manner.
• Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to execute digital strategies and campaigns.
• Optimize product listings, category pages, and checkout flows for maximum conversion.
• Stay up-to-date with e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Manage third-party integrations and plugins for the e-commerce platform.
