Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Digital E-commerce Analyst to join their fully remote team, working from anywhere, including Bloemfontein. You will dive into e-commerce data to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions and optimize online performance.

Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing datasets on traffic, sales, and campaigns; building dashboards; identifying trends to improve conversion rates and retention; and conducting A/B tests to optimize website elements

Qualifications

• Experience as Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in digital marketing and e-commerce.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to website traffic, user behavior, sales, and marketing campaign performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs for e-commerce operations and marketing efforts.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize website elements, campaigns, and user flows.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support strategic initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in web analytics, data visualization, and e-commerce best practices.
