About the Role

Our client is searching for a data-driven and insightful Remote Driver Performance Analyst to join their expanding logistics team based in Bloemfontein , working entirely remotely. This critical role involves analyzing driver behavior, efficiency metrics, and safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements that enhance overall fleet performance. You will be instrumental in developing strategies to boost productivity, reduce operational costs, and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance across the driver network. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of fleet operations, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret driver performance data from telematics, logs, and other sources.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) related to driver efficiency, safety, fuel consumption, and adherence to schedules.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize driver performance trends and operational insights for management.
• Recommend data-backed strategies and initiatives to improve driver performance, safety records, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with fleet managers and HR to implement driver training programs based on performance analysis.
• Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and company policies related to driver conduct.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , Performance Analyst, or in a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization software).
• Understanding of fleet management principles, driver behavior, and safety metrics.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely, both written and verbally, in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
