Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Drilling Supervisor to oversee onshore drilling operations in a fully remote capacity. You will provide technical leadership to drilling crews, rig personnel, and service providers, ensuring safe, compliant execution.

The role emphasizes remote decision-making, efficiency optimization, and asset integrity across oil and gas projects, with a focus on safety, environmental standards, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in drilling operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of safe and efficient drilling campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, cementing, well control, and directional drilling.
• Ability to manage field operations remotely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all aspects of onshore drilling operations on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor drilling performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with geology, engineering, and HSE to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage inventory of drilling supplies and equipment, and oversee service provider performance.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe working environment.
