About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient scheduling and routing of their delivery fleet. This fully remote position is crucial for ensuring that all deliveries are planned effectively, optimized for time and cost, and executed seamlessly. You will be the central point of contact for dispatching drivers, monitoring their progress, and responding to any operational changes or issues in real-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics coordination, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with dispatch and routing software. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a remote work environment, maintain excellent communication with drivers and stakeholders, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our transportation operations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily dispatch of drivers, assigning routes and ensuring optimal load balancing.
• Utilize dispatch and routing software to plan and optimize delivery schedules for maximum efficiency.
• Monitor driver progress in real-time, providing support and making adjustments as needed due to traffic, weather, or other disruptions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., warehouse, customer service) to coordinate logistics seamlessly.
• Track delivery performance against established KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, driver activities, and delivery outcomes.
• Handle exceptions and emergencies, re-routing or rescheduling as necessary to ensure timely service.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and driving hour limitations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatch processes and logistics strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatch operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, route optimization tools, and GPS tracking systems.
