Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives across virtual teams in South Africa. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery, leveraging Agile practices and modern PM software while collaborating with stakeholders across time zones.

You thrive in a remote setting, demonstrate strong communication, risk management, and budget oversight, and hold a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in project management with digital transformation focus.
• Proven ability to manage remote/distributed teams.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban and PM software (Asana/Trello/Jira).
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor-level degree in CS/IT/Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of digital transformation projects aligned with business strategy.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources and budgets for remote teams.
• Facilitate virtual communication among distributed team members and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and dependencies in a remote context.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
• Track performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
