Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Digital Marketing Specialist for a fully remote contract role in South Africa. The candidate will assist in planning and executing campaigns across social media, email, and content marketing, while learning SEO and analytics fundamentals.

You should have a relevant bachelor's degree and a passion for online marketing, with strong communication and analytic skills to measure performance and optimize campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Demonstrated passion for and understanding of digital marketing concepts.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools is a plus (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Mailchimp).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising.
• Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, blogs, and websites.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with the online community.
• Support email marketing campaigns, including list management and performance tracking.
• Conduct keyword research and assist in SEO efforts.
• Analyze campaign performance data and provide insights for optimization.
• Assist in A/B testing of marketing materials to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new campaign ideas.
• Report on key marketing metrics and campaign results.
