Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Digital Learning Designer to join a university's educational development unit in a fully remote capacity. You will design, develop, and implement engaging digital courses that align with pedagogical best practices and modern educational technologies.

You will collaborate with faculty, create multimedia content, ensure WCAG accessibility, and continuously evaluate and improve online learning experiences for students nationwide.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of digital learning design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with LMS (Canvas, Moodle) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate).
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and online pedagogy.
• Excellent remote work communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive online courses, modules, and resources.
• Collaborate with faculty and SMEs to translate content into effective online learning.
• Create multimedia content including videos, animations, and simulations.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and institutional guidelines.
• Evaluate course effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
