Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer for a fully remote role. You will weave security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, automate testing, and manage security infrastructure across cloud environments.

Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential to deliver secure applications efficiently. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in DevOps/DevSecOps, strong cloud and scripting skills, and experience with IaC tools and security testing suites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 3-5 years in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency with scripting and IaC tools.
• Experience with security testing tools and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security into CI/CD with SAST/DAST, dependency checks and container security.
• Automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
• Develop and maintain IaC for security controls and environments.
• Collaborate with dev and ops to fix security issues in apps and infra.
• Manage security configurations for cloud environments and monitor posture.
• Provide alerts and reports on risks and compliance status.
