Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic software development team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure from your home office, focusing on automating deployments and ensuring reliability of cloud-based applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with cloud infra focus.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Strong networking and security in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration for remote work.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Implement and maintain robust security practices for cloud environments and applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues in production environments.
• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure system health.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.
