Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Installation Technician for a fully remote role. You will guide customers and junior technicians through complex installations remotely, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless deployments of our products.

This position emphasizes strong communication, remote diagnostics, and thorough documentation, with opportunities for professional development and certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical installation and support roles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with remote support tools, CRM software, and diagnostic utilities.
• Experience in training or mentoring technical staff.
• Strong understanding of network configurations and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert remote technical support and guidance for product installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex installation issues via phone, video, and remote access tools.
• Document all support interactions, resolutions, and technical findings in the CRM system.
• Develop and update installation guides and troubleshooting documentation for remote use.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for remote installations and support.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve recurring technical issues.
