Placements24 is seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer with a DeFi specialization to join our Randburg team. You will design, test, and deploy secure smart contracts, dApps, and backend services powering next-generation DeFi products.

You should be proficient in Solidity, Ethereum, and DeFi protocols, with experience in tooling like Hardhat, Truffle, and Ganache, plus Web3 libraries. Strong collaboration, security awareness, and a passion for crypto are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Developer with DeFi focus.
• Proficient in Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Familiar with DeFi protocols, tokenomics, liquidity, and AMMs.
• Experience with blockchain dev tools (Hardhat/Truffle/Ganache).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure smart contracts for DeFi protocols.
• Build and maintain dApps and underlying infrastructure.
• Write high-quality, tested, and documented Solidity code.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement features.
• Conduct code reviews and security audits to ensure contract integrity.
• Integrate blockchain solutions with existing financial systems and APIs.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in development and production environments.
• Stay updated on DeFi trends and security best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and platform strategy.
