Job summary

RELX INC. is hiring a Decision Support Analyst working remotely from South Africa or the United Kingdom.

The role focuses on working with real, imperfect data to derive reliable decision‑grade insights, with responsibilities across validation, analysis and automation. The incumbent will partner with Finance Business Partners, develop budgeting/forecasting components, and perform variance analysis while translating complex questions into structured analyses.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in analytics, finance, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).
• Experience working with large, messy, or incomplete datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to explain analysis clearly.
• Experience with definitive data quality, reporting processes and automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, validate and troubleshoot information to generate reliable decision‑grade insights.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners; build budgeting and forecasting components.
• Perform variance analysis and translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
