Job summary

LexisNexis Global Operations is hiring a Decision Support Analyst to join our Finance team. This role targets 2–5 years of analytics experience and focuses on turning messy data into reliable, decision-grade insights that drive commercial outcomes.

You will partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to build budgeting, forecasting, and financial models, validate data, and develop dashboards that support timely, accurate decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
• 2-5 years of experience in analytics, finance, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to work with large, messy, or incomplete datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Clear communication to explain analysis and insights.
• Intellectual curiosity and persistence in solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to analyze performance and support decisions.
• Build and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and financial models.
• Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data across multiple systems and sources.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, identifying root causes and fixes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for accuracy and usability.
• Perform variance and root cause analysis to explain drivers of performance.
• Translate questions into structured analytical approaches.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting processes, and automation.
