Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will work with data from labs, ECG, imaging, biomarkers, EHRs, wearables and more.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in clinical data, SDTM knowledge, and experience with data transfer agreements. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure compliant data delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in support of clinical research.
• Experience working with external data e.g., Safety Lab, PK, Simple Biomarkers, ECG, etc.
• Experience working with external data providers within a clinical study setting.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience working on clinical trials.
• Experience working in diverse global/multiregional teams.
• Knowledge of SDTM.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Plan external data stream setup to meet study timelines.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to define data transfer needs.
• Create change requests for new data concepts.
• Develop tsDTA's documenting data transfer requirements.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet requirements.
• Coordinate with external data providers on tsDTA alignment.
• Translate concepts into data mapping guidance for programmers.
• Perform UAT of test data transfers.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into CDR for external data streams.
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams.
