Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field required.
• 15+ years in technology leadership roles (CTO/VP Eng/Head of Tech) with experience in operations.
• Experience leading tech strategy for high-growth companies, preferably in renewable energy or related sectors.
• Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), network architecture, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Strong understanding of operational systems, IoT, AI/ML in operations, and data analytics.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proven leadership in remote/global tech teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in a fully remote CTO role is highly desirable.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainable tech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Oversee scalable, secure IT infrastructure and operational platforms.
• Lead integration of AI, IoT, and data analytics to boost efficiency.
• Manage technology budget, vendor relationships, and procurement for tech investments.
• Ensure cybersecurity posture and compliance across systems.
• Collaborate with CEO/COO on strategic planning, product development, and market expansion.
• Build and mentor a geographically dispersed tech and operations team.
• Drive tech solutions that support renewable energy generation and distribution.
• Ensure tech stack supports global scalability and business continuity.
• Champion remote-first tech operations and collaboration.
