Placements24 is sourcing a Cryptocurrency Exchange Developer for a rapidly expanding platform. You will build and maintain core back-end systems powering high-performance trading, wallets, and APIs, collaborating with a distributed international team.

The role demands experience with distributed systems, high-frequency trading concepts, and strong security practices in FinTech/crypto environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years backend development, 2+ years in financial systems/trading or crypto.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, Java, or Rust.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and message queues.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and order book dynamics.
• Knowledge of cryptography and blockchain technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, NoSQL.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and WebSocket services.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-performance trading engine components and microservices.
• Design secure wallet functionalities and integrations.
• Build and maintain robust APIs for exchange access, order management, and data feeds.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and security teams for seamless UX.
• Implement and optimize order matching, risk management, and core exchange functions.
• Ensure platform security and integrity against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Stay current with crypto, blockchain, and financial tech trends.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
