Placements24 is seeking a Courier Services Specialist to join a fully remote operations team supporting Port Elizabeth and beyond.

You will coordinate courier activities, monitor shipments with tracking software and GPS, and serve as the main contact for drivers and dispatch. The role requires proactive, detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills who can work independently from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in courier services or logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with courier tracking software, GPS and communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Reliable internet connection and remote work setup.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate courier activities and delivery schedules remotely.
• Monitor package movements in real-time using tracking software.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, providing support and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with dispatch for route planning and timely pickups/deliveries.
• Respond to customer inquiries about shipment status and delivery exceptions.
• Identify delays and implement contingency plans.
• Maintain records of courier operations and incident reports.
• Liaise with customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Analyze data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
