Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support project management teams overseeing activities in the Queenstown region, with no daily on-site presence required.

You will maintain documentation, coordinate meetings, manage timelines, and communicate with subcontractors and clients through digital channels, enabling smooth operations and timely updates across all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday.com) and standard office applications.
• Strong remote communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Familiarity with construction terminology and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and directing project activities from a remote location.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports for projects in the Queenstown vicinity.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, both internal and external, and prepare meeting minutes.
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, alerting project managers to potential delays.
• Facilitate communication between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients through various digital channels.
• Support the procurement process by tracking orders, deliveries, and invoices.
