Applicants should hold a professional architectural degree, be SACAP-registered, and proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering tools.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Registered Professional Architect with the SACAP.
• Significant experience in architectural design with a diverse portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and rendering programs.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods and materials.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept to construction documentation in a remote capacity.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers and stakeholders via virtual meetings to define requirements and objectives.
• Prepare high-quality drawings, 3D models, renderings and specifications using industry tools.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate systems.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction to address design queries.
