Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Community Outreach Specialist to serve Vereeniging and surrounding areas from a fully remote team. The role focuses on connecting residents with social services, health resources, and community programs through virtual engagement and digital tools.

You will build relationships with community leaders, NGOs, and stakeholders, organize online workshops, and monitor trends to improve service delivery while maintaining detailed digital records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 3+ years in community outreach or related field
• Strong virtual communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement remote community outreach strategies for Vereeniging area
• Engage residents via social media, email, video conferencing
• Conduct virtual needs assessments and provide information/referrals
• Build online relationships with community leaders and NGOs
• Organize virtual workshops and webinars
• Create digital content about resources and services
• Monitor online forums for needs and trends
• Coordinate with in-person staff when needed
• Maintain accurate digital records of outreach activities
• Advocate for community needs within the org and with partners
• Analyze outreach data to report effectiveness
