Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Social Integration Assistant to support individuals and families in integrating into their community. This remote role focuses on guiding newcomers and vulnerable populations to access social services, employment opportunities, and community life.

You will use strong communication and organizational skills to empower clients, maintain confidential records, and collaborate with local organizations via remote channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in community services, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
• Knowledge of social services, employment resources, and community structures in the North West province.
• Empathy, patience, and commitment to inclusion.
• Proficiency in using digital communication and record-keeping tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding and accessing local social services and community programs.
• Provide information and support related to employment, housing, and education.
• Facilitate introductions to community groups and social networks to promote integration.
• Conduct remote needs assessments and develop basic integration support plans.
• Maintain confidential client records and track progress of integration efforts.
• Liaise with community organizations and service providers to facilitate client support.
