Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Community Engagement Officer to connect with and support beneficiaries and partners across the Bloemfontein region from a remote setting. You will design and implement digital engagement strategies, manage online communities, and coordinate remote support services to empower vulnerable groups and foster inclusive participation.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and proficiency with online collaboration tools.

Qualifications

Experience in community engagement, online facilitation, or digital outreach.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for digital interaction.
Experience in the non-profit sector or community development is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute digital strategies for online community engagement and support.
Facilitate virtual communication channels, forums, and social media groups to foster community interaction.
Identify and engage with key community stakeholders through online platforms and digital outreach.
Coordinate the delivery of remote support services and information dissemination to beneficiaries.
Monitor online discussions and feedback, responding to inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
Organize and manage virtual events, webinars, and online workshops to engage community members.
