Placements24 is seeking a Social Media Community Manager to join our fully remote team serving the Benoni region. You will build and nurture online communities, drive engagement, and manage conversations across platforms in a consistent, on-brand manner.

Responsibilities include responding to comments, monitoring sentiment, identifying advocates, partnering with content creators, and reporting on growth metrics to the marketing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in moderating online communities or social media support.
• Strong written and verbal communication with empathetic tone.
• Ability to manage multiple conversations across channels in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, on-brand manner.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to grow brand loyalty.
• Monitor sentiment and feedback; escalate issues with solutions.
• Identify online communities, influencers and brand advocates to engage.
• Track growth, engagement metrics and sentiment; report regularly to Marketing.
• Collaborate with content creators to inform content strategy.
