Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Online Community Manager to build and nurture our digital community. This is a fully remote position, with the flexibility to work from anywhere, including South Africa.

You will moderate discussions, create engaging content, organize online events, and serve as the primary liaison between the community and the organization. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a solid understanding of online communities, and a passion for connecting users

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Online Community Manager or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting on community performance.
• Ability to create engaging content.
• Remote work self-motivation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for online community growth, engagement, and moderation across various platforms.
• Create and curate engaging content, including posts, articles, videos, and interactive discussions.
• Monitor community channels, respond to inquiries, and address member concerns promptly and professionally.
• Organize and host online events, webinars, Q&A sessions, and other community-building activities.
• Analyze community metrics and provide regular reports on engagement, sentiment, and growth trends.
• Act as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the online community.
