Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join a fully remote team. Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, drive governance and cost management, and guide migrations from on-premises to cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes strong expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and security-focused architecture. Remote work enables collaboration across global engineering teams with competitive incentives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
7+ years IT infrastructure experience; 5+ years in cloud architecture and design.
Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Strong networking, security, and DevOps understanding.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote team.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and implement scalable, highly available cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Develop and maintain cloud strategy including governance, security, and cost management.
Collaborate with engineering to migrate applications to the cloud.
Provide technical leadership on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
Assess and recommend cloud solutions to meet requirements.
Develop automation strategies for deployment, management, and monitoring.
