Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join a fully remote engineering team. You will lead design and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective deployments.

Responsibilities include establishing architecture standards, guiding migrations, and collaborating with development and operations. Strong emphasis on remote communication and proactive problem-solving in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
Minimum of 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
Proven expertise in designing and managing cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong networking, security, and DevOps knowledge.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
Excellent communication for a remote-first role.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure architecture and standards.
Ensure security, reliability, performance and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with development and operations on deployment strategies.
Provide technical leadership on migration strategies.
Troubleshoot complex infra issues and prevent recurrence.
