Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Cloud Solutions Architect to design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive cloud strategy. This fully remote position offers the chance to shape how cloud technologies drive innovation and efficiency across teams.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business units to define scalable, secure architectures, optimize costs, and lead migration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years IT experience with at least 4 years in cloud architecture and design.
• Extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and core services.
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
• Strong networking, security, and data management in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud roadmaps, standards, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cloud architectures and migration strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud services and methodologies.
• Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies to enhance capabilities.
