Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Cloud Network Engineer to architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based telecommunications infrastructure. This fully remote role focuses on scalable, secure networks across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

You will design VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers, and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible while collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure optimal performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with focus on networking and cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, including at least 2 years in cloud networking.
• Proficiency designing and managing networks in one major public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with network automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and security in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Develop and automate provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure robust connectivity for cloud-hosted applications.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid cloud environments and provide timely resolutions.
