Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Civil Design Engineer to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects from anywhere in South Africa. You will develop detailed designs and ensure compliance with standards, collaborating with a dispersed team through virtual channels.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and 5+ years’ experience with CAD tools and infrastructure design principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant engineering analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop design plans and technical drawings for infrastructure projects using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis, hydrology, and site grading.
• Review existing infrastructure and propose upgrades and new developments.
